Included with your ExpertWriter™ program is a bonus disk of sample letters and facsimile forms. These range from credit letters, sample lease agreements, Christmas facsimile cover sheets, to a facsimile form for ordering food from your favorite take–out restaurant. We have included the artwork used in the facsimile forms on the disk, please feel free to use this for any non–commercial purpose, and create stationary to suit your own needs.
On your Bonus Disk you will find a Bonus Install File which will install three folders onto your hard drive: Sample Letters, Sample Faxes, and Fax Art. All files are saved as ExpertWriter stationary so you can add them to your stationary menu and begin using them right away!
1) Make sure that ExpertWriter is already installed on the machine.
2) Insert the Bonus Disk into your floppy disk drive.
3) Double Click on the Bonus Disk icon. Double Click on the EW Bonus Installer file.
4) A standard Macintosh file dialog will appear, asking you where on your hard drive you would like the files installed on your hard drive. Go to the desired location on your hard drive, and click EXTRACT. We recommend you place the files in your ExpertWriter folder. (If you are unsure of using the standard Macintosh save dialog, please consult the manual that came with your computer.)
5) When the installation is complete, the installer will return you to the Finder, where you can click on the Bonus Disk icon and drag it to the trash can to eject the disk.
6) Follow the instructions in Chapter four of the ExpertWriter manual for information on using stationary files, and have fun!
Artwork for the facsimile forms is in PICT format. Some parts of the original artwork were created in a paint program, some in an object oriented graphics package. You can use either type of program to open and edit the art work that can utilize the PICT graphics file format.
